Newly crowned, Mrs. Ethnic World International 2012, Daisi Pollard Sepulveda is living her legacy. A successful beauty queen, business woman and supermodel personality, Daisi Pollard Sepulveda is utilizing her crown to embrace leadership roles in the business, social and charitable arena. As entrepreneur, Mrs. Sepulveda helps develops and manages business in the entertainment, lifestyle and luxury... markets. Daisi is a correspondent,spokes person and mentor for several organizations such as the National Ladies Professional Group and the Asian Professional Exchange influencing and leading numerous of young professionals on waysto pursue their passions and achieve their goals. Having appeared in numerous magazines, commercials, television shows, network shows and establishing a thriving business, Daisi attributes her success to her genetic lineage of pioneers who have contributed to advancements across several industries. As a business woman rooted in building on her legacy, Daisi wants to help people uncover their roots so they can fulfill their true purpose. Having been adopted as a foster child, Daisi didn’t learn of her lineage until her adulthood and understands the importance of knowing where you come from. In the search for her biological history, she made the vital discovery of her great grandfather, Jerome Aredell Williams, an acclaimed author of the novel “TheTin Box: A Story of Texas Cattle and Oil” a novel of cultural historic value published in 1958. The beauty queen’s heritage dates back to the 1800s as a descendant of the legendary Taylor-Stevenson Ranch in Houston, Texas. Daisi founded the Legacy Project to help foster children and orphans learn how to begin their legacy. The organization helps children that are going to age out of the foster care system get a head start in life. Sepulveda will be kicking off the Legacy Project with a book tour of a 2nd edition of The Tin Box: A Story of Texas Cattle and Oil. Daisi has added a Foreward, Preface, Introduction as well as an Epilogue to the novel. Daisi will donate proceeds from “The Tin Box”“ book sales to the Legacy Project. The goal of the Legacy Project is to prepare foster care children and orphans that are going to “age out” of the system for life on their own. The Legacy Project will give a prepaid credit card with an allotted dollar amount as a fund to support “Aged Out Youth” in their initial start to independent living. The Legacy Project will also offer a Life Skills program that will include workshops of financial education, career development, healthy living and life coaching. With the success of this mission, children will not be victims of their circumstances and will have the ability to take control over their lives enabling them to start their own legacy. As a symbol of hope, belief, and aspiration Daisi will give every foster kid and orphan an heirloom legacy locket that represents how each of them are now part of her legacy.
